The goal of this project is to locate and link all UK Chadwell's and identify the American Immigrants. It is closely tied to the UK Project.
Were growing, this project now has two member, David Douglass, Mike Chadwell.
Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.
- 1. Search the Family History Centers database and othersfor all Chadwells
- 2. Build partial trees here, but keep them linked to this page.
- 3. Link those trees together, and with the Chadwell's from around the world.
- 4. Also Include resource info on the appropriate town or district page.
ALSO, ancestry.com, Familytrees, Bobs.web.site.com is NOT a source. Please Please use credible sources. Birth, marriage, and death citations, census records, time period documentation Bibles, wills, land records. I and Wiki Tree thanks you.

Also for anyone working the American side of Chadwells: I have loaded about 7 or 8 hundred Chadwells and spouses. Only have 3,000 to go. Most were done by hand. I finally figured out the right format for the gedcoms and I starring to work that way. Only doing 25-30 at a time. I don't like the final outcome for the sources, so I have to go back and edit it all.
If you see errors in anything, AND have a good source, please go ahead and fix it. I have tried to put everyone here on ALL the Chadwells trust list, (that I control) I probably missed the spouse side so just let me know if/when you get there.
If you find someone in the wrong spot please fix the error on BOTH sides. Where they came from and where there supposed to go. And a big thanks to everyone here. Doug Z.
